In September 2019, Nicole Caba received the recognition of La French Tech to join the Boost In Lyon incubator program to launch an innovative, tech startup. Soon after her interview with the Boost In Lyon team, she packed her bags in New York to start her journey to France to launch an innovative project. Participation in BIL#15 will start in September 2019, and it will go on until February 2020.
“I literally cried when I received the call that I was selected to participate in Boost In Lyon and granted the French Tech Visa to move to Lyon. My entire life has changed since that moment, and I’m forever grateful for the opportunity BIL gave me.” says Founder & CEO Nicole Caba.
Throughout the program, Nicole will work alongside a dozen other startups to validate their business ideas, create a marketing strategy and connect with a network of successful entrepreneurs.
Boost In Lyon was created in 2012 with the goal of helping businesses test and validate their ideas before launching. The incubator program also assigned a startup mentor, Thibault Jaillon of Square Glasses, to support Nicole as she navigates the startup ecosystem in France.
“I hope I will be able to get the support and mentorship to navigate the startup ecosystem in France, and that it will really impact the success of my startup as a foreigner,” says Nicole.
Nicole hopes to gain useful tips regarding validation and the eventual business launch with the help of Boost In Lyon incubator program, and that the networking events will open doors in the French and global market.
